The rights to Peter Pan are held by Great Ormond Street Hospital, not Jason Medici. Shame on you for stealing funds away from a charity.
It's always great to see a new twist into the internal character development, especially when taking the evolution of an old classic. Taking the old story and giving it a new depth is always an exciting read. Highly worth it and recommended!

And as to copyrights, not to worry, that hospital has copyrights *only* to the stage-play under a perpetuity clause. Not movies, not books. Hence 'Finding Neverland' and the new 'Tinkerbell' movies, as well as other books. Those rights expired 70 years after the death of the author, i.e. ending in 2007. Shame on others, for trying to tarnish an author's credibility; when in legal credibility they have none. Even the hospital's website lays it out. Read.
The book is a captivating and well written story of amazing adventures in a another land of intrigue. I thoroughly enjoyed the excitement and drama in Neverland and the relaxation and thrills I experienced in reading it. I recommend it highly for anyone.
