It is both comical and intense in nature, with the poetic workings carrying the weight of raw emotions, and the character dialog being responsible for lightening up the feel to give the book a balance of laughs and raw emotions that will satisfy all your literary cravings. This was a book about the writer, (I'm assuming) and his sidekick, Guidey fighting racism in the world of dreams. It goes into poetic pieces which usually serve as the dreams, then goes into verbal exchanges between the two as they argue and try to keep each other focused to the task of battling the dark forces that plague Ron's dreams. It has very comical moments where Ron has wet dreams or nightmares and guidey has to steer him straight. The only knock, and reason it's not a fiver, for me, is that the writer can be quite profound with his words and at times I had to re-read to understand. The writing is brilliant, however and that's more my problem than his, I'm sure.Product details
